The Amazing Gloria Steinem

Here is a wonderful interview with Steinem in the Financial Times. She talks about Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, the mommy track and men and family, her choice not to have children, balancing her public life with her personal life, the death of her husband 5 years ago, and Friday the 13th.

And Steinem makes me again feel grateful for my own wonderful male life partner, and his heavy involvement in raising our children...and showing our sons that women can be the breadwinners and men can be the primary caregivers. (Perhaps undoing some of the damage the Disney movies are doing!!!)

"What will most fundamentally make us fully human is for men to raise children as much as women do.” --Gloria Steinem
