Earlier today, Mike was trying to get the kids in the house, and they were lagging on the front steps, and he said "C'mon boys!"
Two-year-old-going-on-20-year-old Nicholas responded: "We're not boys; we're men!"
Tonight when I said "How's my cutie?" he responded "I not a cutie--I Nicholas!"
Last night I was reading Babymouse to Kieran--and Babymouse is playing the understudy of "Annie" and singing "It's a Hard-Knock Life!" Nicholas said, "Annie and the girls sing that and jump on the bed!"
I'd hazard a guess that most 2-year-olds do not know all the songs to "Annie" and "Bye Bye Birdie"...oh yes, and "Mamma Mia!"
