Mitt Romney not worried about poverty

Not surprised. As Reverend Chuck Currie so eloquently writes in The Huffington Post, Mitt Romney should be.

The poor and the working poor are just barely hanging on, and the Republicans in congress are not helping any. According to the Census Bureau, another 2.6 million people slipped into poverty in the United States in 2010, and the number of Americans living below the official poverty line, 46.2 million people, was the highest number in 52 years.
"The Washington-based Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, whose expertise on poverty issues is widely respected, indicates that there are definitely holes in the safety net — and says that the recession and modest recovery have blown open the holes even larger." --article on npr.org

While Romney is trying to convince people that he cares about the middle class, he's just further proving how completely alienated he is from reality.
